# Provider and BYOK Setup

Add the provider keys needed by your chosen Movie Studio image and motion models, and keep platform access separate from generation billing.

## Access and billing

The current public BYOK offer is a $50 lifetime VideoBrainstorm license with a 7-day refund window. The license unlocks Movie Studio; it does not include generation credits. Provider usage is billed to the account behind each saved key.

- Google Gemini: Gemini image models and Veo motion models.
- OpenAI: GPT Image still and World generation.
- Replicate: SeedDance motion models.
- fal: MiniMax H3 Max motion.

## Set up a provider

1. Use the settings button in Movie Studio, then open API Keys.
2. Paste the key into its provider field. Keys are encrypted and stored server-side.
3. Test before saving. Testing confirms the key is accepted and may report image or video access. Model availability can still vary by provider account.
4. Run one low-cost still before starting motion work.

Provider keys belong only in Settings. Never paste a key into a scene prompt, World brief, or Notes.

Movie Studio disables models that are not configured. Provider dashboards and invoices remain the final source for access, quota, and billing.
