Provider and BYOK Setup

Set up VideoBrainstorm access, understand the lifetime license, and add provider keys without exposing keys in the browser.

Access model

VideoBrainstorm supports subscription access and BYOK access. The current public BYOK offer is a $50 lifetime product license. BYOK means you bring provider keys and VideoBrainstorm stores them encrypted on the backend.

• Gemini: required for Auto Mode, Gemini images, and Veo video.
• OpenAI: required for GPT Image 2 image generation when using the OpenAI provider.
• Replicate: required for SeedDance video generation on BYOK accounts.
• Backend proxy: provider generation goes through authenticated backend endpoints.

Example provider settings:

• Gemini: saved, used for Auto Mode, Gemini images, and Veo.
• OpenAI: saved, used for GPT Image 2 generations and edits.
• Replicate: needs key, used for SeedDance videos on BYOK accounts.

Public offer and billing boundary

The current public offer is built for founders, marketers, creators, and agencies that need to turn loose ideas into visual direction before a brief is locked.

• $50 lifetime license: the public BYOK purchase is a one-time product payment for lifetime workspace access.
• Bring your Google API key: generation usage is centered on the user's Google API key. Optional providers require their own saved keys when selected.
• Provider billing stays separate: the product license does not include provider credits. Provider dashboards and invoices remain the final billing source for generation usage.
• 7-day refund window: users can request a full platform refund within 7 days. Provider API charges are billed separately and are not refunded by VideoBrainstorm.

The $50 lifetime license unlocks VideoBrainstorm. Gemini, OpenAI, Replicate, or other provider usage is billed by the provider account attached to the saved key.

Set up BYOK

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Add the Gemini, OpenAI, or Replicate key.
3. Use validation when available.
4. Run one simple image prompt before starting expensive video work.

Never paste API keys into the composer. Provider keys belong only in Settings.

Provider checklist

• Gemini key has access to supported image and Veo models.
• OpenAI key has GPT Image 2 access.
• Replicate key can create SeedDance predictions.
• The account has active access before generation starts.
• The user understands that the platform license and provider usage charges are separate.
